Ground Security Instructors Course

Running over six days, this course centres on ensuring total safety and security of the grounds and runways of the airport, and covers established techniques for recognising, preventing or neutralising either active or developing threats. This includes methods of dealing with disruptive or aggressive members of the public, as well as anyone that poses a serious and immediate risk to themselves and/or to those surrounding them.

Every Aviation Security course that Nightingale offers requires the learner to be employed in the role with the training need. Further to this, the employer must provide a security declaration before the training can begin. All courses are certificated and require regular (though not frequent) refresher training after a given period of time has elapsed.
